hey folks.ive been working on a old map called ancient.i use to play this map in hl1dm,thier was like3 or 4 defrent versons,some 1 told me it was orginaly a quake map.id like to give props to the maker but i cant find who made it first.dose any of ya know where it came from.

Is that the whole map?

I like where you're going with your architecture, tho wonder why the balcony is not centered on the arch below.

Could be your game settings but the lighting seems pretty drab, try boosting those numbers up?

i think ive found the orginal mapper "Todd'Mr.CleaN' Rose" .ive emailed him but the link in the map text file is dead.if any1 knows this guy could you point me in his direction.that being sed im realy needing help with the lighting.getting tourch light to look rite is giving me a ruff way.val if you have any sugestions hit me up on steam when your free.

heya Brunty, looking sexual mate.
notes: i'd watch it with those func_dustmotes...(sometimes this year) valve seem to have broken it in ep1 and you can get in trouble. the bug is that the map starts off fine and then after a while you will stop seeing explosions. e.g. nades, barrels etc = gone. only sound, no visual. so i suggest you playtest every compile you make to be sure this is not happening.
secondly, you might want to check out the fade dist on them metal torches; quite a lot of them in one area might rape frames:)
also, i'd unsolid them torches.

BTW, nice fog ;)
