I was making dm_collapse_r1 and had this freaking error. Map was compilied succesfully, fps is not bad, I've wrote mat_leafvis 1 in my console and started to test leaves. But... I haven't found bad leaves in game area. Please, explain me reason of this error, how to find and fix it.

look through your brushwork. this is either an intersecting brush or a concave, tube, arch that's gone to the moon. on the laters ones - tie to func_detail will solve it.
also make sure you are working with snap to grid.
look for complex brushwork.

you will most probably hardly ever see actual BAD leafs. you'll more or less come across a lot of INVALID ones. mostly it's Hammer messing them up.
looking at the pic im not sure why the leaf and the next brush aren't aligned though...any particular reason?

thank you, man. Reason was a bad brush (vertex tool), I've just fixed it. (but +15 minutes vvis)
