i had some leak issues that i was getting during compile time. i seem to have fixed all of those because that message is no longer appearing in compile log.....the issue im having now is the compiler gets stuck at a point called "PortalFlow" doesnt make it past "1.." and takes all of my cpu up. any idea why this is happening?

Go to the 'map tips' thread I'm pretty sure there is a link to an optimization tutorial, maybe on Interlopers now, the one that is generally accepted as scripture for learning. I forget the author. It is a must for what you are attempting. When Portalflow gets stuck it almost invariably means your world solid geometry is too complex ( or you have an invalid solid that it's trying to cut visleaves round and can't, use alt+p and see ).

In your visgroups, hide everything except world geometry, meaning hide all models, entities, func_detail, weapons, blabla, and you should be left with a fairly simple system of solids.
