The final vote for maps, the last 3...

Ok this is the MASTER list, meaning they are set with one exception and this has been suggested by several people, keepers map MOVER can't be in the final list until we have a revised version, so it has been removed and brought down to the secondary list, the final 3 [to make 10 total, 8 for the rotation, 2 as backup]

*not that I'm playing in the league, but if I was that's the map I'd want to play.

This constant voting and re-voting is madness. We need to settle and settle quickly.

We only need 8 maps for the season. The *fixed* list above represents 7 of those and mover (with revision) was the 5th most popular vote in the last vote.

Here is my own suggestion... put mover into the map list and call the map list above good.

CAL has had to change maps mid-season before due to glitches that affected game play. CAL has also updated a map mid-season to a new revision to fix glitches.

If Keeper is unable or unwilling to fix mover before it is supposed to be played in regular season then take it out and replace it with the most popular map from this vote.

Incidentally, I would have liked to have seen Ultra in the final list but for the sake of getting started lets just go with what we have. If one map proves unpopular in season 1 it can be replaced for season 2.

Another subject that needs to be considered as it has proven contentious in the past is the 3 maps that get played for the championship series. Here is my own suggestion... round 1: dm_donutbox_tsgk_rc4, round 2: dm_domebox_tsgk, championship match: dm_killbox_kbh2.

How much time would this take up per week and what days would matches be played? I'd play for fun if I had the time...so ping isn't an issue when it's for the lolz!

well you will have 1 scrim a week, the competition last for a total of 8 weeks, it's up to you too keep up on the Cal site as far as who your next match is with and try to work out a suitable time with them

is no fun, it a bigger version of kbh2 with lot superchargers health,etc. you'd have to get a hs everytime to kill some1 heh.

no offense to whoever made it. it might be good in a pub but not for a 1v1.

It'd be cool if all the killbox mappers joined together and made some amazing killboxes with proper weapons placements



who made kbh2 and domebox btw?

some of the rac maps are good for teams if some1 fixed up some stuff in it (more weapons at the bottom, no red room, no camping at the rac sign.)

Dominator may be big for 1v1, originally was chosen if y'all remember that far for 3v3 as well, when we get our 10 maps together, we will put the 8 best up, that is to give us room to make decisions such as this.
