VGA vs DVI?

8) Just got a new monitor and to my dismay it did not come with a DVI cable. My question is it worth it? With shipping I can pick up one at newegg for about 12 bucks (looked at the reviews for a cheaper one and people had problems with the same monitor I have).

So is it worth the 12 dollars or should I stick with VGA/Dsub? I'm not really a "picture nazi" but if it's worth the 12 bucks to switch I will.

The quality I get here at work with DVI is much better than that of VGA. I'm not a pic nazi either, but the quality is very noticable.

So it's most likely worth it? Ok thanks. :D

Thanks Keeper. I got a DVI cable and it looks GREAT. Noticeable difference. Can't wait til I install the drivers for the 8600GTS :D 8)

I have this monitor: http://www.samsung.com/us/products/moni ... ifications

And a 9600GT (compatible with any cable and TV-Out)

My question is, can I plug a DVI? Thanks in advance.

Your Link does not work for me, s0iz.

Do you have a Samsung 206BW ? If so you should be able to use DVI.

Because I meant to put it under Department of Engineering and you're the first person to catch that and say something.
