My razer copperhead, after a year more or less of use, is getting kinda stuck on the firing button.
The secondary fire can be pressed from any part of the button (as if it was new), but the primary fire doesn't respond if I press on the upper part, which I generally do, so I have trouble shooting, reacting to stuff and so on. The other day I cooked a nade and died :cry: Any idea on how to clean it/ fix it?

well I always wanted a deathadder so I guess it's time to buy it, that's the positive thing ^_^
bad part is I was thinking about leaving my copperhead to my bro, but now that it is fucked up ...=/

You could try the FLEX BUTTON fix from here http://razerblueprints.net/index.php/Tutorials/

OR just strip it and clean it up, might help. good site non the less :mrgreen:

sounds like its already ruined ..so not much to lose there. I've had this happen on several mice over the years, and if you think about it a micro switch that gets pushed 123982139812398123123123912309123603405934550 billion times is gonna give out sooner or later.

Is it still in warranty? if so send it back to razer.
If not then strip it down and buiy an new one or bind attack to another key.

dunno if it HAD warranty, but I wasn't gonna send it anyway ;P
I say "had" cuz I already opened it all, cleaned it and stuff. It is better now, not brand new but I think I can handle pretty well some more months until I get a deathadder ^_^

Dont throw out the mouse.
I do not know if this applies to argentina but in the USA all the good mice from M$, Razer or logitech carry at least 3 year warranties and usually replacing it only means you call them up and tell them what is wrong and they send you a new one. Also if the mouse still works you can pass it along to a friend who just has to put up with the button. All non gaming members of my family have mice either cause I received a replacement or cause I wanted a new mouse and the ones I replaced are usually plenty good enough for non gamers who aren't going to die if that button does not get hit. They just press it again and proceed to their email.

I do not know if this applies to argentina
me neither, that's why I said meh and opened it all (voiding the warranty). I cleaned it up and stuff, everything works better now except the only thing I wanted to fix which is mouse1 button lol. Anyway, mouse works good so I'm not planning to throw it at all. Surely will give it to my little bro... Should be more than enough for him and garry's mod/tf2.

according to this --> http://www2.razerzone.com/Warranty/
I infer it's only for america? o.0
anyway, listen to this haahhaha
I opened it again, grabbed one of those special glues that are really strong, and sticked a little piece of paper on the plastic part that pushes the mouse1 button. It works almost better than brand new lmao >.< Fixed it :D
