Recognise the table?
These pics are about 6 months old.
Image

I have removed the front doors off the case, they are a pain when burning CD/DVD also tidied all the cables up inside case. Was running 2 Raptors in RAID0 but later put on in my PS3
Image

Modified Mybook pro with a raptor to run as main drive for PS3.

Sarcasm or for real? Coz I used to use it and it wasn't half bad. I got the G15 since I wanted back-lit keys.

The things on the floor are usb frag pedals http://gamingmouse.com/weapon.php?pid=99
I use the foot pedal for zoom  and voice in hl2dm

The keyboard is a ms 4000 ergo, widely available in the states anyway for about 40.00, Iv'e used saiteks, razers and a few others, this one is the most comfy and best performing out of all I have tested.

The colors lol yeah, its a 2+ year old build and the DFI board came that way so I ended up matching some of the stuff I built in the case too it. Considering this case was not made for water cooling I was pretty stoked on the custom radiator install.

Its more than just looks, wires strewn about all over the inside of the case disrupts proper air flow.

thats one of the reasons i always recommend ppl get a case that is much larger than what they need.

those foot pedals are awesome. im gonna look into getting them.

btw, why do you have 4 HD's???

2 years ago when I built this large capacity drives were not that cheap nor great performers, thats 4 raptors in a raid 0 array.

Very nice. Do you have any hdtach shots of that in action?

The Dell OEM keyboard is awesome, the buttoms are firm, large enough to be comfy, but not to small to piss you off. The way they are spaced, laid out, is perfect. I wish I could get one. OFF TO EGAY.

Oh, I got 2x single plater seagate perps (7200.11) 250gb's in raid0 and my are they fast, quick in transfer but they can't touch your random access.

keefy

2009-01-16 03:06:36

Found HDtach, interesting stuff. Did some tests on my drives. Not done my Raptor due to downloading a linux distro.
Maxtor 120 Spinpoint F1 1TB
Same spindle speed same access tiems but wow the difference is almost double.

EDIT
Done raptor test and it is rather dissapointing to say the elast, it got owned b y the spinpoint big time mind you it isn't SATA 2
Raptor 150

2009-01-17 13:44:55

Hmmm, even though that's the case, you can't beat the raptors random access time.

Hmm, that is true, I figured Raptor would qualify for the whole line of Raptors ;)

Can't wait for SSD to be cheap enough for the masses. 0.1ms? omg.

Punk, that is a beautiful neat clean build. The case looks awesome and the layout kicks ass. What is that case? HDDs and PSU on top and upside down ATX! Nice.

Animated cursor, icon set, two mixed windows theme and sysmetrix "blending in" and re-worked wallpaper, took me awhile so everything feels like it comes from one big package when its actually quite some time of research. I'm on Vista 64
