Anyone knwo how to remove the mouse acceleration in win7? It's driving me nuts I tried the usual launch commands, they do nothing, even installed my mouse software they do not remove it either. I expect the cpl mousefix to be XP only?

the cpl mouse fix is a registry edit, I suppose you could look in the registry and see if the same dwords exist and modify or create them.

hey was wondering, ...any other drawbacks i should be aware of as im about to install 7 on my rig. any conflicts with dm / steam / l4d / firefox / msn , ...etc.?
would help to know in advance.

Only problem I have come across so far is the mouse acceleration.
Didnt even need to install my Printer drivers, I think it auto installed them from windows update.

*sigh*....installed 7 on a brand new SATA drive. bast didn't recognize all my other drives.
installed xP = happy.
imo wait this one out til this is official and several updates into release. sorry not sure i want to beta test for MS. looking good tho from what i've seen.

The install is a pain, it needs to be formatted and empty otherwise it wont be recognised. The install format tools do not work correctly I think.
All my drives were detected even IDE jobs.

well it sure detected my IDE but not the SATA.
dunno, just had a bad gut feeling someit is about to go real wrong and i'm too dependent on my puter to take the risk.

I think Edge has it running on his machine.

what build are you running keefy? im on 7077 and its running fine . only prob was my dvd burner, apart from that is much better than vista
@ val all the games run great no probs at all but install builds around 7077 some of the other builds are 7106 and theyre in chinese
