Hitreg or lag

Anyone experiencing extremely bad hitreg lately? It started for me about 3 weeks ago. I know it happened sometimes where we all saw blood etc btu was not a hit but lately I dont even see the blood alot of the time nor hear hitsound if server uses them. Another thing I noticed is it seems like bullets can go round corners alot more these days and by that I don't mean whilst I am unning away and think I am round the corner I literally am round the corner after popping in from shooting at the enemy and boom I am dead or at least my screen goes red. The only weapon that seems consistantly good is the crossbow.
While all this crap is going on I have good pings no chokes or loss even doing tracrt of servers comes back with 6-8 hops max and all are 30 or below pings I jsut dont understand it.
Its not my internet which is ethernet and 13Mbits down and 1.3Mbits up.

The people who are hitting you, do they have high pings? I've noticed that alot. It seems if the server doesn't get reset daily, then it gets worse.

Their pings are similar 20-40 and the servers are restarted daily.

The only thing I can suggest then is to watch the movie Wanted to see how to curve your bullets

The only other thing I can think of is that maybe the game server is just overloaded?

U wouldnt hapen to be playing on a wireless connection would u?

Something really out of date?

I had this problem in a league game on the Nordic server. Have a look at console and see if you getting lines of red text not the spray error but other sort.

Noticed the same problem the other night, I was clearly getting head shots but none of them were registering :/

I only noticed it today; yesterday mag headshots were working fine on lockdown, and then today anywhere I went headshots wouldn't register with mag.

its called a ping spike when it spikes youll start going slowmo/fastmo with bunnyhopping etc and your hit reg just goes out of the window

ppl generally notice ping spikes.

not if you don't know why its happening

I have a had a fiddle with my rates mostly cl_inrterp_ratio so have to see if it improves things.

eh, if u get ping spikes u can actually see the effects of it.

I had those kind of problems for years, right up to the point I stopped playing. Sometimes things would run great, but more often like you described. I tried everything, including playing around with cl_interp_ratio. Nothing seemed to help. This is the best game ever when it runs great, and closer to chewing glass when it doesn't.
