aka KSOD

Happened to me yesterday, there's no way out of it, there's a very tricky thing you can do that MIGHT repair it (just maybe) and it didnt work for me. Read it here before it happens to you (if it ever does)

Unfortunately my case could not be solved by this and I had to reformat, there's no other way out of it.

Mine was Windows Update related (as in the update caused the issue)

There's a cracked full version out, or so it seems, a colleague has it at work

You can d/l the RC. I've been using it for about 4 or 5 days now.

hmmm, i have vista 64-bit, and the only problems i have had so far is msn giving me the bluescreen, and recently wen i upgraded the video card drivers my screen went black and my card just wouldnt work, but that was an easy fix, then the next day wen i clicked on update windows it came up with some new vid card drivers and they worked perfectly.
Honestly, vista has been quite good, i had alot more problems with xp then i ever have with vista, had it on here over a year now, safe to say i dont need to cross my fingers :S

Ya, I've been wanting try it for a long time, but I needed to wait until I had an opportunity to install a new HD and give it a go.

How did you get 7600? I've got 7100 right now, but so far I'm impressed with it.

How well do you like Ubuntu con? I was thinking of running it on an older laptop.
