Anyone have a good FPS CFG?
I use to have a great one that made my peice of shit laptop get 100+ FPS on good days. And i need a boost or just a clean-up of my PC. Lost my Cfg as hl2dm ran fine when i got my PC so i didn't bother saving my cfg from the laptop which has since be re-formatted a couple times. I guess HL2DM Config Pack by s0iz, FPS Enhancer by Onti would be a start but forums might be a good place for them aswell.
well, I tried to include as much commands as I could, so I doubt you will find a lot more than what there is on my config.
However, I did something wrong, which is I left shadows, and should have disabled them. I might update the config some day. Anyway you can just exec it, and then go to options and disable shadows from the options menu.....
you can also use mat_dxlevel 70, which will surely help.

meh i'd rather keep the shadows and dx9
i think the model commands is what iwas looking for.... i think it's just that my hard drive is getting full since i never had to bother with it even still have HDR on
well, I love to optimize a pc. I think that's what u need.
Try disabling windows services ( the useless ones), defrag the hard drive, erase useless stuff, clean windows registry and defrag it, use msconfig to prevent useless programs from starting up at the begging......among other things ;D
I don't know if it was on purpose, but you can't access there through the "official curriculum"
btw, I like a lot more x264, maybe a guide about it would be nice to....but it's done anyway, just use holymoly links, and you can get it.
WT, maybe you can contact the author asking for permission to include it in the web, or maybe a modified version of it. =)

Yeah, intentional because it's not complete. I was meaning to finish it...doh. It's on my list, along with many other things XD.
Add what to it with permission? The codec?
the guide to compress in x264

Oh I will just write my own and cite it as a source, so there is no issue.
